Refund and cancellation policy

Spark Cart issues refunds for every lesson booked on Spark Tutor, and is responsible to you for them. This policy applies to the adult who paid. The same 24-hour rules apply.

Last updated: 24 October 2026

This document is available in English and Polish; both language versions have equal force. In case of any discrepancy, the interpretation more favourable to the consumer applies.

Before you pay

You can cancel a hold before you pay. The time is released and you are not charged. An open checkout is closed. A hold lasts 30 minutes.

After you pay

These rules apply to a lesson you have paid for. The cut is 24 hours of real time before the lesson starts, not a calendar day. Lessons are shown in Europe/Warsaw. A daylight-saving change does not shorten those 24 hours. A cancellation made exactly 24 hours before the start is a full refund.

How a refund is paid

A full refund is the whole amount you paid. Spark Cart issues it, and Stripe sends it to the original payment method.

Spark Cart does not refund a cancellation you make less than 24 hours before the start. If the tutor cancels, or does not attend, you receive a full refund. We send a refund within 14 days; how long it then takes to appear depends on Stripe and your bank.

This rule does not affect your statutory right to withdraw from a lesson contract within 14 days of the day your booking is confirmed and paid, described in the Terms, section "Right of withdrawal". If you withdraw within that period, you get a refund in line with that section, including where the lesson is less than 24 hours away.

While Stripe is in test mode, the site shows a banner that says “Test mode, no real payments”. A payment in that mode is not a real charge.

Write to info@spark-cart.com if a refund does not match this policy.
